Swiss theatre in Ukrainian at GOGOLFEST Pokrova

On 3 October 2026, Zaporizhzhia hosts the first Ukrainian-language performance of the solo show “Be My Marguerite!”.

Created and performed by Madeleine Bongard from Switzerland, the production draws on interviews with Marguerite Duras. Words, movement and music explore freedom, vulnerability and solitude.

After 39 performances in French and English, the show will be performed in Ukrainian for the first time. Previous appearances include Switzerland, France and the Francophonie festivals in Kyiv and Lviv.

3 October · 17:00 Kyiv time · Zaporizhzhia · duration: 1 hour.
